How to create Pre-Filled Forms
How to easily write very long SUBSTITUTE formulas (optional)
Kids receive a joUUrnal at the beginning of the summer and spend all summer recording their adventUUres. JoUUrnals have 15 adventUUre themes, with many ideas for each theme; but, basically, a child can do anything they want within a theme. When they complete and journal about their adventUUre, parents place a (provided) sticker badge into the book. After they complete at least 10 adventUUres, kids/parents scan a QR code and fill out a simple form. The child is then mailed a coupon for a free ice cream cone at a local shop. All adventUUres, incidentally, can be completed on our grounds, so that it enables us to hold AdventUUre Days during the summer, as we are able to do so. JoUUrnal can also be completed entirely at home, or at vacation destinations.
Files were originally created in Microsoft Publisher, so I've provided them in both Publisher and PDF format. I created my JoUUrnal using pre-punched 5" x 7" paper and 3-ring punched chipboard covers, which were joined by plastic binder rings in bright colors; you could also use a binding machine, if you have one, or just a simple cardstock cover stapled together.
